Tuition for the full 4 years of the integrated programme. Regional Institutes of Education and government universities are heavily subsidised; private ITEP colleges charge much more.

Fees change every year and differ by college — confirm with the college before paying. Scholarships can cover much of this.

Who can apply

Passed Class 12 in any stream. ITEP is taken straight after school rather than after a degree, so it saves a year compared with the older degree-then-B.Ed route.

How to apply

Apply through NCET, conducted by NTA (ncet.samarth.ac.in), for ITEP seats at notified institutions. Under NEP 2020 the four-year integrated degree becomes the minimum teaching qualification by 2030, which is progressively replacing the standalone B.Ed — so a student entering school teaching now should look at ITEP first.
