How this book was made

Every course duration, entrance exam, eligibility rule and admission route in this book was checked against the authority responsible for it — among them the National Medical Commission, the Dental Council of India, the Indian Nursing Council, the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions, the Pharmacy Council of India, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the Veterinary Council of India, the National Council for Teacher Education, the Directorate General of Training, the Karnataka Examinations Authority, the Union Public Service Commission, the Council of Architecture and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Where a rule is contested or in transition — and several are — this book says so rather than pretending it is settled.

The book carries no rupee figures, no exam dates and no advertising. Fees and salaries change every year and cannot be corrected once a book is printed; a stale figure is worse than none, because families plan around it. Dates change too, and a wrong date costs a student a year. For both, the official portal named in Look It Up is the answer, and it is always current.
