PUC Commerce · pathway 33 of 50

BBM (Business Management)

BBM / BBA · 3 Years (4 Years Honours under NEP)

BBM is not the easier commerce option; it is the less technical one.

Marketing suits you if presenting, teamwork and defending an idea are what you enjoy, and you still follow through on the dull execution afterwards. It is taught through cases and live projects, so you argue decisions more than record them.

In marketing, most graduates start in sales or business development, with your own target; in HR, usually in recruitment. Operations puts you where the work happens — a warehouse, store or plant floor — resolving shortages; shifts are more common than students expect.

The marketing syllabus overlaps much of an MBA first year, which recruiters know, so the degree alone does not command a management role. Pair it with a real internship, a running social media account with actual numbers, or CA alongside for finance.
