Plumber Trade

Turning up when you said you would is, honestly, half of a plumber's business.

You are neat, patient with finishing work and good with people, because much of this work happens inside somebody's home. Planning before you cut, and holding a pipe route in your head, matter just as much.

You fit out bathrooms and kitchens, run supply and drainage lines through walls, trenches and shafts, and install pumps and rainwater harvesting. Expect kneeling, confined corners, heavy material, and a customer who cares how the finished work looks.

Drainage work is as unpleasant as you imagine, but skilled plumbers in cities are genuinely hard to find, and most work for themselves. Get concealed work right the first time. If you want more later, ITI holders can join a Civil diploma in its second year.
