Pure Sciences

B.Sc · 3 Years (4 Years Honours under NEP 2020)

A B.Sc is a starting qualification, not a finishing one.

You liked the derivation more than the formula. Pure science suits students who keep asking why something is true, who can stay with one hard problem for an afternoon, and who are comfortable with maths.

With a B.Sc alone, most first jobs are in laboratories, quality control and data analysis — careful, methodical work at a bench or a screen. The scientist and research posts people picture come after an M.Sc, and usually a PhD.

Plan one more step — an M.Sc, a B.Ed or a competitive exam — and choose it before your final year, not after. A three-year B.Sc on its own opens fewer doors than most families expect.
