PUC Science

The most structured of the six roads, and the one with the most entrance exams at the end of it. Science leads to medicine, engineering, nursing, pharmacy, agriculture, veterinary science, architecture, the defence services and research. It asks for two demanding years of Physics and Chemistry alongside Mathematics or Biology, and it rewards students who genuinely like those subjects rather than students who were told the stream was prestigious.

What PCMC closes. These need Biology at Class 12, so PCMC closes them: Medicine (MBBS), Life Sciences, Veterinary Science, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences, AYUSH Medicine (BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / BSMS). Where a pathway lists NEET and KCET together and does not need Biology, PCMC students take the KCET route.
